Hey boys its been awhile, we are on the road, the mountains of Virginia are easily handled with the Rigbee.... I Love driving these T/Conversions, i would never have anything else. For the first time this week i ran into a Dynamax 45ft top of the line T/C, the paint job real nice and the Rig looked solid, they where towing a Jeep. I woke up early to try to catch them, i took a few photos, went back a few HRS later, they where gone...One thing i did notice, single axle in the rear, anyone have any ideas on why a Rig that big and heavy would have a single? is that common? anyway hope you are all well, whats up Bob, hows the Vette.....check out my Blog..OUTAHERE@VIVITI.COM.......G

Great news, Gene. Glad to hear you're out having fun seeing the lands of USA. We're in Kansas at the hdt rally. Having a great time. Lots of cool trucks here. I'm the only t/c tho. They have lots of great info sessions going on (I'm skipping the one about 5th wheel hitches going on right now). The weather hasn't been the greatest tho, kind of rainy on and off. We've met lots of great people.

I looked at one of those Dynamax units before buying mine. It was built on the M2 medium duty chassis. I didn't check the weight of the axles (I wasn't too serious because they wanted WAY too much for it and it wasn't heavy duty enough for me). I thought it looked like it was built very well. But I did think it looked built right to the edge of that chassis' ability. Just like most class A's are. Too bad you didn't get to snoop around that one more and see if they've scaled it and see where they were at on the axle weights.

Take lots of notes at that Freightliner school. Then scan them and send them to me, hahahaaha.

Bob,
Just too much work going on here to break away for the Rally. How many trucks are there total and what looks interesting?

Please post pics if your can.

Thanks,

Rad

Too bad Rad, but work is good too. Hopefully I'll only have to do that for another year. Great bunch of truckers here. I heard there were 42 registered units, so about 84 people I guess. Lots of cool trucks too. I'll put some pictures up on my thread about the rally so I don't hijack Gene's thread.
