Default Air line splice ?

Working on a project. Some one cut two 3/8" air control lines to a parking brake system. Is it legal to use a "DOT" splice on the lines ? The lines are 25' long and will be a pain to swap out.

Thanks, Randy

You mean a DOT compliant splice? IF that is what you mean the yes, it would be legal. The main thing is.... Does it leak?

Shouldn't be if it was installed properly. Even if the splice was 'illegal' your chances of ever getting in trouble for it are probably about zero........
