Jason,
What type of fluid should i use in the levelers on my Show Hauler? I managed to break one of the lines going to the rear jack when I became stuck when the roadway colapsed during the recent flooding in Richmond. The entire jack broke off of the mounting plate. We removed the hardware and repaired it but I need to add some oil.

Wick-
I am not Jason, but being the type of system it is, I would think that a premium grade of hydraulic oil would easily get the job done. In fact I would think that in a pinch, power steering fluid (which is in fact hydraulic oil with a few additives) would even get the job done without ANY harm. Not sure I would want to try it, but I've heard ATF would do the job if nothing else was available.
Just thought this might help if you needed something NOW.
