How tall are most conversions ?, and is there a hi tech way of checking clearance !/
I guess I am looking for an upside down depth finder!
How do people make sure their proposed route has no low underpasses ?
My rig is a hair under 13'6" and I find there is alot of unmarked bridges (on secondary roads) at least in NY
I am sick of getting out to measure but half of them have been to low for me so far !
Is there a better way? t

Wow. Only easy way I can think of is to run a pole a touch taller than the rig on the fornt bumper, if it touches, you won't fit back up and go around.

Mine is right at 12'6" no way I'd ever go over 13' since I have to hit a lot of backroads too.

Well, I was thinking while ago about a "high tech" way, but never did anything.

A back up camera turned around, sitting on top of the roof, AC, whatever your highest point is.

There should be a way to use the grid on the monitor for clearance, how many inches are left.. or, if your monitor suddenly goes black, the you know for sure the bridge was too low...
