I am in the process of the conversion and am wondering if anyone knows whether or not an fl112 hood will fit on an fl70 truck? I am pretty sure the cabs are the same but not sure about the hood.. The hinges measure out similar were each of them mount. Thanks in advance.. Ben

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling the FL112 hood might be longer than the FL70 unit. Strictly out of curiosity, (and me being as nosey as I am) why do you want to put the 112 hood on your 70?

The truck I bought has some damage and the hood needs replaced anyways. The fl112 hood looks way better ( i think so) because of the round headlights and marker lights. They kind of look like a Century class front end. The fl70 hood just uses regular square halogen style headlights. cost wise, they are are both pretty close if i buy one used. Thanks for the help.

.....there are aftermarket hoods also.....somewhat cheaper than OEM.......geofkaye

I have to agree that the FL112 DOES look better; if it looks like it might fit, or even a smidge too long, give 'er a shot!
And BTW do give the aftermarket a look. There ARE bucks to be saved and the quality does not have to suffer.
