Ok,

My local dealer has no idea and so now I am awaiting word from freightliner. Hopefully you guys know. My CB is pre-wired in the top console on my columbia, i removed the generic cover and am installing my CB,

My question: Does freightliner make a replacement cover that has a hole for a CB or do I have to cut my existing blank cover to fit it. I ended up wit hthe bearcat 78 CB.

Also my back up camera is wired to the CB wires, do you think that wiring the CB to it also will affect it's operation??

THANK YOU

If it's like my FL112 business class interior you have to make one. I used some scrap aluminum diamond plate and then shot it flat black to match the other covers. Wil-Ro made or had one for the business class interior but I'm not sure if they sell them or just put them in their conversions (had an FL60 they did for a while).

Only suggestion if you make yours is use a real jig saw. The in a hurry method of the Sawzall and a bench top vise didn't make for the cleanest of cuts.... However it isn't bad enough for me to make another.

well call me the oblivious dutchman. The center of that cover is a metal plate that pops out. So I popped it, measured, cut, popped bck in an here I have my CB hole closed and covered, just some small space on the side you hardly see, about 1/16 of an inch. LOOKS nice..
