Anyone ever used speedco for a service?

I took my renegade to speedco for a full service today, and I am pretty pleased with their service. I have had my toter for about two years and it was supposedly serviced before I bought it, but I wanted someone to go over the whole thing. They even serviced the generator. It was a little pricey but I think it was worth it.

Anyone here use them, or do it yourself?

I have not but, have heard good things. Friend with a Renegade 45' twin screw had full service, tires and 3 axle alignment done and was pleased with results another with a Showhauler had full service done and was happy too. Both were out on the road and not local to home bases so that's a good thing.

I used them when I bought my truck to get a baseline value for new oil and filters. Also had the oil analysis done, plan to keep doing this to monitor engine over time. The first one does not mean much since I have no idea on the miles and oil type, but it did give some data that is indicator of some engine condition. It was done in the Amarillo, TX location for me, right off I-40 easy access.

Overall I think Speedco did a good job, they had me witness torquing the plugs and showed me the trans and diff's fluid checks they did. After fuel filters they had me start it and then shut off to check leaks and final oil level check. Price was not that bad, considering if I bought all the filters and oil myself the savings was not that much. Of course they get filters and oil in bulk pricing.

Im still doing mine myself.

There's a local shop (that i cant seem to get to) that will do oil/filter & fuel filter changes and check all the fluids & lube the chassis for $239 - i cant even buy the oil and filters price.

they'll do an on site sampling for 14 bucks too....I use Blackstone Labs to analyze the oil in our other cars/trucks
