Hi Randy:
WIA is the designation for White trucks, 1995 WIA's were baged as "WHITEGMC" and were built by Volvo. We just purchaced a 1995 WIA last monday and are starting the conversion process.
Our "motor home" has a N14 Cummins, 10 speed manual, 2 air ride seats, 72" sleeper and is very clean for a Million miler. It was "loaded" when purchaced and has has good care. The engin is strong and does not smoke, has good oil presure (probably rebuilt with in the last 200000 miles, brakes and tires are good. We put new steerers and alloy wheels on yesterday. The former leaser traded for steel wheels and ""square" tires. At 52-60 mph they just about shook the truck apart. We took her to a big truck repair shop and had a thourough going over inspection, Oil and all filters changed, full service. There were only two should do's. brake shoes on the front drive axle, and a shakle pen on the F left spring that would not take grease.
