45' Custom Conversion. 92 FLD120 Freightliner chassis, 300,000 on major overhaul. This unit was built in 2005. 430 HP Detriot series 60, 13 spd, Rebuilt 3:07 rearends, cruise, tilt, 2 new air ride seats, new brakes, chambers, air hoses, new airbags and lines, 6 new Alco rims, new steer tires, 60% left on drives, and complete service records. 280 gal fuel tank, 7.5 KW diesel generator. Aqua Hot diesel water heat system, 1800 watt inverter, 60 amp converter/charger, 13,500 BTU ducted roof A/C, 8 cubic ft 2 way refrig, Amana 3 burner gas stove, Amana microwave, TV/DVD/VHS, Yamaha AM/FM reciever, 200 gal Fresh water, two 100 gal waste tanks, 4 deep cycle RV batteries, electric entrance step, 6 panel solid oak doors, custom made oak cabinets, sinks and counter tops are all one piece. This unit was built for winter use as much as summer. Thermo panel windows, walls have 2" closed cell foam, the floor has 3". All pipes are surrounded by foam also. The roof has 5/8 sheeting under a one piece aluminum roof, 100% walkable. Interior walls have 3/8 sheeting behind paneling, and the floor has 3/4 sheeting under carpeting. Queen size bed in the rear with ceiling fan. The Aqua hot system has 5 heating zones, living room, bathroom, bedroom, all are controlled seperate for heat. The Aqua system also heats the shower water, and also heats the trucks antifreeze for easy starts in cold weather. Shower is full sized 39x39 neon angle. Table folds down for sleeping, jacknife sofa, and loft, sleeps 6 comfortably, living area ceiling is 7'6" high. WAAAAAAY too long, sharp corners look cheap. Looks like it was slapped together out of sheets of FRP. Even the wheelwells are square. If this conversion is hi-dollar, it doesn't look it.

Do you think the sleeper should have been removed?

What do you think of the specs for the insulation?

How about the hot water system, what do think of it?

It's sort of a nice rig for me, simple in design, interior and exterior, hard for the dogs to destroy, 45' is a bit long in CA, need special testing from DMV to qualify to drive.

I wish there were windows over both the sink and stove, above the couch, in the cabover and maybe some skylights in the ceiling to allow more light in...
