Ive heard of cases like DeepVee has mention - but i don't have any real knowledge of anyone i know having been stopped.

I've HEARD of situations where TxDOT or DOT waited outside a track and pulled over privateers - and wrote them for NON CDL and failure to maintain DOT compliance....the case was made that the cars (inside the trailer) had stickers on them & even if they were CONTINGENCY stickers you were still getting "paid" (commercially?) to race.
