Way back in the day before you could buy a chinese pos jump box on every street corner, I was a dealer for Jump-n-Carry, which is a top quality usa made unit. My dad still has his that he uses on his farm after 15 years. I used to carry the automotive 660 amp version. I used to demonstrate it on a diesel pickup, it would start it with the truck battery disconnected and just clamped to the bare cables. That made the sale every time.
