Took a quick trip to the FL Keys last week. With the whole gang onboard, a full tank of water, and my wife's little SUV on the trailer: Did four top offs in about 2300 miles. Overall average was 7 mpg. First leg at 75mph yielded about 5.7 mpg. Slowing down to 70mph brought the average up over six, but putting along through the keys at 45-55 averages over 7mpg.
I guess the truck just likes to go slow...poor truck!
