I talked to the owner of this today, It sold for that price. He sent me a real nice adobe file on it. A very nice
foundation for a full blown conversion. It did have a few drawbacks IMO. The motor would have made a great Boat anchor,I never liked DD after owning one just like it. Couldn't pull a fat lady out of a donut shop. Although it was a Allison automatic it was a older 400 series. My estimate was $15,000.00 for good rebuild Big Block Cat or Cummins and a newer rebuild Allison 700 series. $40,000.00 To do the inside, remove the back door, redo the side entrance with a stairwell, install a 10K diesel genset, add a real good hitch assembly to tow a 38' stacker. Throw in another $6,000.00 for screw-ups and I forgots. That adds up to $126,000.00 for a no name morphadite. That sits on a 26yr.old molested chassis. Now if you could have owned it for $10,000.00???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????
