I liked the "teak" for outdoor applications. Inside, I've become a fan of natural materials that provide less off-gassing of toxins. We use wood (of course), 100% rubber (Pirelli, Norament, Johnsonite), or Marmoleum (brand of linoleum - made from flax). All are affordable and can be detailed to be quite beautiful. We are about to install a cork floor in our latest project. I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
